Everything about Wade’s & Nikki’s engagement session was all so beautiful! As spring quickly approached, the snow was disappearing FAST and locations with snow were more limited. I texted Nikki the day of the session asking if they would like to have their engagement photos captured by the creek, as there was an area full of snow. I’m so glad they were up for it! I first took them between the paths, surrounded by tall trees with their cute, black dog. Then, as the sun set a little more, we hiked down the hill to get to the creek. The sun was glowing in the freshly melted water and the snow sparkled around them. It was perfect.
I absolutely loved my time with these two. Nikki and Wade are the kind of couple that you want to hang around longer! They are incredibly sweet, kind and easy to talk to. Their session felt like it went by so fast because time flies when you are having fun with such an amazing couple!
Their engagement session resulted in dreamy, light filled images and it also allowed us to have some really awesome time to get to know more of the two of them!! I have worked with Nikki lots as she is a very amazing, gifted florist, here in Grande Prairie, so I am excited it’s finally her turn to get married!! Both Nikki and Wade share the same interests and love the outdoors, especially on their ranch, so it was fun getting to incorporate their love for the outdoors, together, in their photos! I can hardly wait until their big day, coming up this year.
Nikki and Wade, thank you for having me capture your engagement memories!! I had such a fun time with you. Your love for each other is so beautiful and it was an honor to capture just that. We can’t wait to celebrate and photograph on your big day, this fall. It’s going to be spectacular!
