Steven & Gina | Grande Prairie Wedding Photographer | Kayla Lynn Photography

It all began at the Teepee Creek Rodeo when Steven and Gina met for the first time, years ago. They would have never thought that meeting each other at the rodeo, would lead to something bigger than they imagined… becoming true friends and marrying each other, someday! Since then, they stayed connected and would have endless amount of conversations! They would often text each other throughout the day, with three to five different conversations going on all at the same time. The conversations they shared were so good that oftentimes they would surpass the number of words the texting app would allow for – That in itself proves how perfect these two are for each other!

On their wedding day, we couldn’t be more thrilled than to see this lovely couple get married. The day was perfect; no rain, not too hot, not too cold… just right. Family from all over, came to celebrate this very special day with them. The best part was seeing these two get married in the SAME place they first met, Teepee Creek! We got to witness this couple get married in front of the white church and celebrating with all of their loved ones. From the moment we walked into the getting ready room, to the moment they shared a fun dance with their bridal party… we loved capturing it all.

There were so many things about their big day that was so special. Steven & Gina started off the day by gifting each other personalized gifts, the morning of the wedding day. Steven gifted Gina the most perfect, delicate bracelet, in which she wore the whole day! As you scroll through the images, you’ll notice a black and white photo of Steven, reading from a notebook. This notebook contained pages of handwritten notes Gina had written while they were still dating, leading up to the wedding day! We just loved how thoughtful these two were, not just to each other, but towards each and every single one of their wedding guests. Gina also wrapped her mother’s rosary around her bouquet and included some of her mother’s favorite white carnations. It was the most cherishing way to include her on the wedding day!

Steven & Gina, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for including us on your big day (and giving us permission to eat the most delicious cinnamon buns!) We wish you nothing but the absolute best as you begin this exciting adventure, together!
