It’s not every weekend that I get to photograph not one, but TWO weddings! With Eric’s and Lindsay’s wedding being on a Sunday, there was no better way than to end the weekend, celebrating and photographing their big day!
I always get excited when I get to photograph people that I’ve known for years. I’ve known Mr. Goodwin through computer class, since high school. When I met Lindsay for the first time at our local coffee shop, I instantly knew how she was the perfect fit for Eric. They are both calm, kind and always make people around them feel so welcome. I felt so happy that Mr. Goodwin found such a sweet woman that he now gets to call his wife!
Eric and Lindsay had such a beautiful wedding day! They got married in a white church, located in Sexsmith, surrounded by some of their closest family and friends, near and far. A live video camera was set up, so that all their family and friends watched them say their “I-Do’s”. It was so incredibly sweet getting to photograph this very special moment. They spent the rest of the evening, visiting with friends, with an abundant amount of dessert. I think they won the best wedding dessert award. The lemon tarts and homemade oreo cookies were to die for!
Eric and Lindsay, I have to thank you again for allowing me to be a part of such an important season in your life. Capturing your happy memories and love for each other was truly a joy. It’s couples like you that makes this the best joy in the world. You two are truly something special and I am so excited for both of you, as you embark on a brand new journey in your life!
