Winter engagement photos can be so dreamy. Despite the cold weather, I love how winter photos can look so magical and enchanting. A few months ago, I met Cole and Justien through a Skype call, and was even more excited to meet them in person for their engagement session here in Grande Prairie. These two are one of the sweetest couples you’ll ever meet. They have the kindest hearts and their friendliness makes you want to be around them all the time! I genuinely loved hanging out with this amazing couple and getting to know them more during their photos.
Towards the end of our session together, I brought Cole and Justien to one of my favorite winter locations, along the Bear Creek. The view was absolutely beautiful with a spectacular snow-filled backdrop. What made the view even more beautiful, was the shining sunset glow rolling in. It couldn’t have made my photographer’s heart more happier, knowing these photos were going to be some of my favorites! However, being that it was towards the end of the session, the cold breeze was rolling more than it ever was. Cole & Justien braved through the winter chills, and they did so amazing despite the weather. I don’t know how they did it, but they did so amazing. Justien was wearing her deep red dress with hair and makeup done by Jeweled, while Cole wore his menswear from RW&CO. I love how the deep red contrasted beautifully with all the snow surrounding them.
Justien’s future bridesmaid, Tamara, came to assist for their engagement session and it was so nice to meet her before their big day. I really can’t wait to meet the rest of the wedding party. Cole and Justien are genuinely such a beautiful couple inside and out. I cannot fully express how grateful I feel to be capturing memories that they will look back on for generations to come.
Cole & Justien, we are so excited to be capturing your wedding day, which is only in one month!! You two are amazing. Enjoy some of my favorites within this blog post!
